## Declaration

The Producer confirms that:

1. All waste transferred under this contract is described accurately and assigned a correct EWC (European Waste Catalogue) code.
2. Waste is stored safely and securely prior to transfer.
3. Waste is only transferred to authorised persons holding the appropriate environmental permit, exemption or carrier registration.
4. A Waste Transfer Note (or Hazardous Waste Consignment Note, where applicable) is completed for each transfer and retained for at least 2 years (3 years for hazardous waste).
5. The waste hierarchy is applied: prevention, preparation for re-use, recycling, other recovery, disposal.

The Carrier / consignee confirms that:

1. They hold a valid waste carrier registration with the Environment Agency / SEPA / NIEA / NRW (delete as appropriate).
2. They will transport, treat or dispose of the waste only at licensed facilities.
3. They will provide copies of consignment notes / disposal evidence on request.
